Business has your Idol working around different locations around the country, taking on different jobs from appearing on television or radio programs to handshake and autograph events. Doing Business and taking jobs are one way to earn Money and Fans.
General Information[edit | edit source | hide | hide all]
On the main Business screen, different kinds of information is displayed. Shown in the top half of the screen is information related to the current Job: the location of the Job, the Job name, Step Progress, how much Experience and Money are gained, and how much Stamina is used per turn.
Each job, or Area, is divided into five Steps. Jobs are started by tapping the green 営業 (Business) button. Steps are progressed through by tapping or setting the Auto-Work option to ON. Each tap earns Experience and Money, while at the same time uses Stamina. Interspersed through the Step are Communication Events. There are a few Communication Events available: 差し入れ (Supplies), エール (Encouragement), 信頼度UP (Reliability UP), アイドルをスカウト (Idol Scout). Supplies come from other Producers and refill your Appeal Power, while Air comes from a random Associated Idol and refills some Stamina. Dependability UP increases the Dependability of the Idol that shows up on the screen and Idol Scout adds a random N card to your Associated Idols.
After completing each Step and the Area itself, a Rival Idol will challenge you to a Rival Audition. Before beginning a Rival Audition, you have the option to call upon two Coworkers to help. The Rival Audition mini-game is like a slot machine. The three values (Vocal, Dance, Visual) spin around until the button is pressed and whatever value is stopped on is added to your Voltage. The amount of the value is listed to the left of the spinning wheel. The first Idol to complete their Voltage first wins the Audition.
Lives[edit | edit source | hide]
Randomly during Business Area Steps, concerts or Lives will be held. The splash screen will show the Crowd Voltage necessary to complete the Live and the number of people in the audience. You will then be brought to the Stage screen where you can choose the amount of Appeal Points (AP) to use. AP can be spent in increments of 20 at 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100 AP. The amount of Crowd Voltage earned is relative to the amount of AP used and the cards assigned to the Live Unit set in Unit Formation.
If there are insufficient Appeal Points to complete the Live, Items like Appeal Bars can be used to replenish your AP and Participation Requests can be sent to Coworkers, Teammates, and other Producers. When a Live is unfinished, any subsequent Appeals are affected by a Chain multiplier. The amount of Crowd Voltage earned from Appeal Points is calculated from the amount of AP points used and the number of Producers participating in the Live.
AP replenishes at a rate of 1 AP per minute.
Audition Battle[edit | edit source | hide]
Audition battles will also occur during business. The player is pitted against another random player in battle based on either vocal, dance, or visual stats. The battle is automated, using stats from the player's select team of 5 cards (which can be automatically picked or selected manually). At least 3 of the player's cards must have higher stats than the opponent's cards to win.
Unlike lives, no AP is consumed in audition battles during business. However, it's possible to manually start an audition battle, which consumes 20 AP.
