Michio Hazama is one of the Idols available to produce at 315 Productions. He was a former math teacher before forming the Idol Unit S.E.M with his fellow colleagues, Jiro Yamashita and Rui Maita.

Profile

Michio is a former math teacher. He's resolved himself to guiding the youth and invited Rui and Jiro to quit their jobs and become idols for this purpose. Thus began the formation of S.E.M. Michio has a personality so serious, it doesn't slip even during performances, not even a little. He's an ardent perfectionist who repeats his exercises as many times as perfection needs. Though he can be strict at times with himself and others, Michio is, above all, full of affection and enthusiasm for the youths¹.

Comments for the Future

My intention is not merely to become an idol–there’s more to it. In my eyes, idols are nothing more than another means to make hopes come true. However, I mustn't slack off. In order to make those dreams a reality, I intend to remain diligent.

Maita-kun’s disposition differs greatly from mine. I dare say he may be an extraterrestrial life form. I’ve known Yamashita-kun for quite a long time now, but we’re not particularly close. However, I don’t bother with troublesome thoughts, and I find it useless to worry.

Character Commu Although it has been some time since I left my teaching position, I am glad to continuously learn new things as an idol, day by day. I would like to make this year a fruitful one as well. Character Commu Oh... Onion steak on octopus and rice. I shall try it at once. Hm... What is it? This seasoning, it makes me feel quite nostalgic. Happy birthday, Hazama-san. We just cooked it according to the recipe, but we're glad to see you're pleased. We secretly asked Mister Hazama's sister to send us some Awaji Island specialties, and she sent us the recipe☆

Etymology

• The name Michio means "path" (道) (michi) and "man, husband" (夫) (o).
• Michio's surname Hazama means "ravine, gorge, gap, (kokuji)" (硲).

Trivia

• Despite living far away from his hometown, Michio is still very close to his family; especially, he often reaches out to his little sister.
• Michio's father is the principal of a junior high school.
